About
Sisodia Rani Bagh
A beautifully terraced Mughal-style garden built for Queen Sisodia, featuring cascading fountains, painted murals depicting Krishna's tales, and manicured lawns.
Built in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II for his second wife, a princess from the Sisodia clan of Udaipur, this garden palace was constructed as a summer retreat away from court politics. The garden follows a strict geometric Mughal charbagh (four-garden) layout with a central water channel.
